1. Can I start an investment in the FBN heritage fund with other stocks that I have?
    No. The structure of the funds does not allow for subscribers to invest with stockspreviously held in other companies.

  2.  What happens after you recieve my money?
    As soon as your payment clears, the fund manager will allocate units to you, based on the current price of unit of the FBN heritage fund.

  3. Will I get a statement/certificate as evidence of my investment?
    Unit holders will be issued with fund statments and/or certificates.

  4. How soon after I invest would I get my certificate?
    Immediately your subscription process is complete,the registrar to the fund, First Registrars, will prepare and send the certificate confirming your investment interest in the fund in the interim, we will send an investment reciept to you confirming the number of units that you have bought.

  5. How can I profit from my investment?
    The fund manager would trade the fund's underlying securities,realizing capital gains and collect dividends and interest incomes, which is then passed to the individual investors in proportion to their holdings.

  6. Can I sell my investment at any time?
    Yes you can sell your investment fund at anytime.

  7. What happens if I lose my initial investment certificate?
    If you lose your certificate, you will be required to swear an affidavit, get a police report, and fill an indemnity form (obtainable from the FBN Heritage fund office). These three documents should be sent to our office for the issuance of a duplicate certificate.

  8. Can I use my investment as a collateral in a bank?
    Yes you can use your investment as collateral to acquire a loan from a bank.

  9. How can I keep track of my investment?
    You can access your account online by registering on the homepage of the website. Also the prices at which units of the fund may be sold (bid price) and bought (offer price) by unit holders is stated under memorandum quotation on the Nigerian stock exchange(NSE) daily list.

  10. Can my investments be passed onto others?
    Yes it can.
